Hi everyone, 

I faced a very strange issue today with odoo pos, I added an article with barre code 22244208, and when I try to read it on POS nothing happen, then when I already choose another product and I read the article with given barre code it applies a discount of 24% on the last product !! I tried this with many articles and the same issue happens.

Please give anysolution to avoid this problem (for the moment I just choose the product manualy without barre code) but everytime I read it with barre code the discount happens !

p.s I even tried to delete the product and when I read the barre code on Pos the same discount happens !

The barcode features comes with what is called barcode nomenclature i.e a definition of barcode pattern so that everytime you scan a valid barcode Odoo can tell if it is a product that is being scanned, if it is an cashier badge that is being scan (eg. when there is a shift between workers), if it is a discount on products etc.


The nmenclature definition can be accessed from Point of Sale > Configuration > Barcode Nomenclatures > Open the only one existing by default. From there you will see a line referring to "Dicount Barcodes" for which the pattern statrs with 22** just like in your case.


You can change it or delete it if you want.
