Hi,
Email icon used to exist in the topmenu for a quick 'new mail' but with the latest v8 it disappears somehow. It has just been removed officially?
Interestingly, just me or nobody uses it?

Nobody knows why Odoo did remove it. But you can get it back by installing this T-Compose Message Button module
