Interesting question. The automatic replenishment trigger sounds straightforward when applied to a single product, but scaling it across a larger product catalog can be less obvious. I’m also curious whether there is a scheduled process or batch action in Odoo that recalculates all products marked as automatic, rather than triggering each one individually. Hopefully someone with hands-on experience in v19 can clarify the recommended workflow.

However I am confused . This action inventory/operation ⮕ "procurement: run scheduler" seems to be working with reordering rules. Is it the one you are talking about ?

I did not create reordering rule for the product. I was expecting that if I set in the MPS "replenishment_trigger" to "automated" this would work. If I use "replenishment_trigger" to manual, it does work fine so I guess that my product settings and routes are fine.

Any idea what am I doing wrong ?

Yes, this is possible. When the replenishment trigger is set to Automatic, the calculation is typically performed through Odoo's scheduled replenishment process (scheduler/cron).

You can trigger it manually by running the scheduler from the Inventory settings or wait for the scheduled action to execute according to its configured interval. Once executed, Odoo will evaluate all products configured for automatic replenishment and generate the necessary procurement/manufacturing proposals.

Also, make sure the MPS rules, routes, and replenishment parameters are configured correctly for the products involved.
